Gary Haines of Babylon, NY won the 2025 USBC Masters Championships to win his first PBA Title. The tournament was held at Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park Michigan.
Longtime New York Director Betty Kingsley Passes Away

Betty Jane (Kulow) Kingsley, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 14th. Betty’s involvement in bowling was a central part of her life, serving as Director and President of the Rochester Women's Bowling Association for decades. She was also a key figure in the New York State and National Women's Bowling Associations, earning numerous awards, including being inducted into the New York State Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 2007.

Jacob Tirado a Junior at Colonie High School shatters a national record rolling games of 290, 300, 300 for an 890 series. The previous record was 867 by Nick Vuono from North Babylon in 2023.
New York's Desron Weatherspoon connects for 900

Desron Weatherspoon of Buffalo, New York, thought his wave of great bowling was ending prior to Jan. 18, as he had thrown three perfect games during the month of December. That all changed on Saturday as the 42-year-old right-hander achieved what only 39 others have in the history of the sport: a United States Bowling Congress-certified 900 series.
NYSUSBC Now Accepting Bids for State Tournaments

The New York State USBC has opened the bidding process for future sites for state tournaments. Ten events are run by NYSUSBC, seven for the adult bowlers and three for youth bowlers. The tournaments begin in August and conclude in June. We are looking for centers beginning in the fall of 2025.
