76th Annual NYS Women's Championships -- RESULTS

Syracuse, L.I., Auburn Teams Capture Women's Tourney Titles
JUNE 15, 2012 – Bowl Mor Lanes (Syracuse USBC WBA), Just Us (Long Island USBC) and Auburn Tank (Auburn USBC WBA) captured Team titles at the 76th annual New York State USBC Women’s Championships held from April 14 through May 20 at Midway Lanes in Vestal.
The Bowl Mor Lanes team of Kristy Rapp (737 series), Roseann DiFlorio (661), Colby Stejbach (685) and Sherry McClusky (630) combined for 2,713 to win the Scratch Team title and the $1,200 first prize.
The Just Us team of Joanne Kelly, Angelina Ross, Diana Darrell and Pamela LaMonda-Jaffie posted 2,547 with handicap to take the 600-759 division title, which was worth $1,600. LaMonda-Jaffie led the way with 598 scratch.
The Auburn Tank team of Kristy Weber, Theresa Armstrong, Denice Hall and Deborah Shea rolled 2,588 with handicap to place first in the 599-and-under division. Hall led the way with 585 scratch.

Doubles, Scratch – Sarah Krager and Laura Zanrucha (Southern Tier USBC), 1,439, $600.
Doubles, 300-379 – Jeana O’Hara and Wanda Truesdail (Southern Tier USBC), 1,345, $800.
Doubles, 299-and-under – Dawn Peebles and Michele Bouquin (Dunkirk Lakeshore USBC), 1,351, $900.
Singles, Scratch – Carol Crandall (Schenectady-Scotia USBC WBA), 749, $300.
Singles, 150-189 – Lori Meade (Earlville USBC), 732, $400.
Singles, 149-and-under – Seline Weiskopff (Syracuse USBC WBA), 729, $400.
All-Events, Scratch – Sarah Krager (Southern Tier USBC), 2,099, $300.
All-Events, 150-189 – Barbara Walker (Syracuse USBC WBA), 2,002, $200.
All-Events, 149-and-under -- Susan Minasian (Syracuse USBC WBA), 2,049, $200.
High individual scratch scores were as follows: Games -- Martha Cameron 300, Sue Nawojski 299, Carol Potter 298, Nicole O'Brien 289; Series -- Jeanette St. Mary 803, Cathy Oakes 761, Carol Potter 752, Anna Porter 752, Courtney Radick 751.
Congratulations to all the tournament champions and to all bowlers who cashed in this year’s event, which drew 541 teams, 1,017 Doubles, 2,034 Singles and 1,984 All-Events.
