The youngest bowler to win a PBA Regional was Wesley Low Jr. at 15 years, 336 days, who won a PBA West Region tournament in Las Vegas in 2013.

Neuer qualified ninth and defeated Mark Scuderi Jr. of E. Rochester, N.Y., 2-0; Tommy Gollick of Oberlin, Pa., 2-0, and qualifying leader Kenneth Ryan of Farmingdale, N.J., 2-0, in best-of-three-game elimination matches before defeating Ryan Shafer, 279-187, in the semifinal match.

Bajorski and Shafer earned $1,000 apiece as semifinal round losers.

The next event in the PBA East Region is a FloBowling PBA Summer Tour event, the PBA Gene Carter’s Pro Chop Classic hosted by Mid-County Lanes in Middletown, Del., Aug. 16-18. The event will be covered live from start to finish, exclusively on PBA’s online bowling channel, FloBowling.
